For recirculation of chemicals and atmospheric protection "Valmiera-Andren" Ltd. offers its experience in manufacturing of flue gas cleaning equipment – flue gas condensers (scrubbers).
Since 1998 we have produced flue gas condensers (scrubbers) of various application and sizes. Among our customers are metallurgy, paper and pulp manufacturing companies, electricity generating companies, meat processing plants, boilers, etc.
Waste incineration plants are our dominant customer in the Baltic Sea region.
We have manufactured both fixed and freely standing glass reinforced fibre constructions from diameter of 600 mm and height of 3 meters up to diameter of 6 meters and height of 25 meters. Gas, which enters into flue gas condenser (scrubber), is cooled in pre-cooler (quench-tower) even from temperature of +180 grades. By collecting obtained heat and transferring into total heating system, there can be increased power of heating device. And, what is the most important, there is substantial decrease of harmful substances, which flow out into environment.
We cooperate with Latvian and Scandinavian leading companies of technologies in designing of such equipment.
Gas ducts of and chimneys of reinforced glass plastic are used everywhere, where is required transportation of gasses with high content of moisture. Composite materials, used by us, are very resistant to condensates.
We have produces ducts of the different diameters and of irregular shapes. They are used for transportation of the various range of gasses, for example, for transportation of HCl vapours, H2SO4 vapours SO2/SO3 in both electricity production and metallurgy industry companies. Gas temperatures can reach +150°C and more.
Application of glass reinforced plastic ensures fast assemblage, long life cycle of product and easy maintenance.
The production of equipment necessary for the provision of chemical processes of SIA Valmiera-Andren occupies a significant part of the company's production.
The unique properties of fiberglass (GRP) resistance to bending, tensile, compressive, chemical, biological and thermal effects, relatively low density and hydroscopy, excellent electrical, thermal and sound insulation, as well as high light transmission and semiconductor capabilities allow effective replacement of traditional materials such as , steel and non - ferrous metals. If we compare the specific strength of materials, the ratio of ultimate stress and specific weight, then glass plastics are 2.5 - 7.5 times stronger than steel. In addition, fiberglass compared to metals is more resistant to shocks, absorbs sound and vibration, is more resistant to aggressive environments.
We use fiberglass in the production of various chemical process equipment, for example - reactors where various chemical substances are mixed, etc.
By insulating the tanks and inserting the heating elements, the temperature regime can be maintained both during heating and cooling.
We produce various chemical pressure tanks and vacuum tanks. A novelty is the "settler" of ore beneficiation plants.
In production unit of Ltd. “Valmiera-Andren" are manufactured vertical liquid storage tanks of glass reinforced plastic (GRP) in various diameter and volume from 1m3 - 800m3, which mainly are intended for storage of chemicals with temperature range from -40°C up to +120°C. Diameter of reservoirs, manufactured in our plant, is up to 8 meters in diameter.

In production unit of Ltd. “Valmiera-Andren" are manufactured horizontal liquid storage tanks of glass reinforced plastic (GRP) in various diameter and volume (1m3 - 200m3), which mainly are intended for storage of chemicals with temperature range from -40°C up to +120°C. Horizontal reservoirs due to its small height mainly are selected for placement in premises.
Underground reservoirs for storage of liquids and waste waters, septic tanks
Septic tank of glass reinforced plastic is tank, which consists of three chambers for municipal wastewater treatment. Treatment type is anaerobic (without air). In the first chamber the wastewater is settled and there are forming solid sediments. In the second and third chamber wastewater treatment is performed by help of microorganisms. Wastewaters, which come out of septic tank, are cleaned up to 60-70%, thereby it is required to transfer this water in drainage well or infiltration field, where final treatment of waste waters takes place.
In places, where better waste water treatment is required, we offer biologic treatment plants, where waste waters are cleaned up to 96-98%, and can be transferred in nearby water drainage systems. Please see more detailed information on waste water treatment here.
We manufacture fire water tanks of various sizes and volumes. Tanks for pumping stations.
